Wayne Rooney has split the opinion of Birmingham City fans after overseeing his first home match in charge, a 2-0 defeat to Hull City on Wednesday night.

Football Insider has been gathering the reaction of Blues fans after new manager Rooney lost his second consecutive game since taking over.

The Man United legend was appointed to replace John Eustace following the club’s takeover with the new owners looking for a big name to lead the side forward.

Rooney kicked off his new job with a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough at the weekend before Wednesday’s (25 October) 2-0 defeat to Hull.

The Blues are currently 12th in the Championship table with 18 points from the 13 games played so far.

Former manager Eustace won five of the 11 league games he took charge of before being replaced by Rooney.
