'I hope this doesn't end up being his downfall' - Rangers fans react as new crisis laid bare

Rangers fans have been left immensely frustrated by the club’s injury crisis during an intense period of fixtures.

Philippe Clement claimed the Gers’ lack of fitness was the “biggest puzzle” he’d ever seen, with Nico Raskin and John Souttar joining the growing injury list.

The Gers travel to Dens Park to face Dundee on Wednesday evening (1 November) low on numbers, with Tom Lawrence, Keemar Roofe, Rabbi Matondo and Dujon Sterling also sidelined.

Blame for this issue is being pointed in all directions, but Rangers fans remain hopeful that Clement can right the wrongs of the past.

One fan fumed at the club for being “filled to the brim with inconsistencies”.

One fan mocked the squad’s fitness and claimed they are “made of chocolate”.

One fan has seemingly solved the puzzle for Clement, citing mismanaged recruitment as a key cause.

Another fan took aim at former manager Michael Beale, suggesting he was not motivating the squad to meet fitness demands.

One supporter blamed the players themselves, suggesting a “lack of professionalism” has contributed to the growing injury list, but remained hopeful the manager could fix it.

One fan was eager to see the Gers’ pre-season plan, claiming it “failed” the players yet again.

One supporter implied that Roofe being sent to Belgium to continue treatment speaks volumes about how much Rangers’ medical team are trusted.

One fan is thankful that Clement was at the club and hopeful that the new boss can restore the required professionalism.
