'Massive', 'Brilliant news' - Liverpool fans react as Trent Kone-Doherty agrees deal

Liverpool fans have reacted with unanimous excitement after 17-year-old Trent Kone-Doherty signed his first professional contract.

The winger joined the Reds from hometown club Derry County last summer and has excelled in the under-18s with 11 goals in all competitions, including a recent hattrick against Sunderland.

While he is yet to make his senior debut, he has trained with Jurgen Klopp’s first team and looks set to become one of the club’s brightest prospects.

Kone-Doherty has also been recognised internationally, featuring recently for the Republic of Ireland’s under-19s.

Renowned for his pace, dribbling, and skill, Kone-Doherty has left many Reds very excited about his new contract and what his future may hold at Anfield.
